Finally, removal of fuel elements without reprocessing imply a much higher area repository construction and thus a significantly higher cost.

– The world’s major countries that operate nuclear power plants are studying Argentina as the final disposal of high level radioactive waste. Some of them have specific laws that specify the studies to be performed and the schedules of entry into operation of these facilities. Such is the case in Sweden, USA, Spain, France, Britain, Switzerland, Belgium, Canada, Finland, India, Japan, etc.
